A couple of months ago I got a phone call from the Republican Party at my home state of Nebraska that I feel sums up the GOP disconnect from people and how not to run an election.
I was in the middle of trying to get my two year old ready for dinner when the phone rang and I picked it up. The voice on the other end was a friendly female voice asking if I had a few minutes to answer three questions and I said sure.
She first asked if I would be voting for the Republican canidate or Scott Kleeb. I responded that I would be voting for Kleeb because I felt that his positions better reflected me and that is where the call started to get weird.....
